How TradePass by UrbanFindr Works

What is TradePass?

TradePass by UrbanFindr is a members-only platform and directory of industry deals for Singapore's bar, hospitality and drinks community. It's a single place for verified F&B professionals to discover industry deals, browse participating venues and outlets, see what's on, and connect with the people and places that make up Singapore's F&B scene.

It's not open to the general public — it's a community for the people who work in it.

Every membership is paid for. Venues buy memberships for their team, and venues that publish a deal pay less for those memberships. If your venue won't buy you one, you can sign up and pay for your own.

Who can join?

TradePass is for people currently working in Singapore's F&B industry — bartenders, servers, floor and bar staff, hotel F&B teams, and related roles. Membership is tied to your active employment in a qualifying role.

If you work in the industry, this is for you.

How to join

There are two ways to become a member:

1. Get added by your venue manager
If you work at a participating venue, your outlet manager can add you as a staff member and confirm you work there. At your first login, you'll confirm you agree to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice — and you're in.

2. Apply yourself
Not at a participating venue yet? You can apply directly. Tell us a little about yourself, provide proof that you currently work in F&B, and agree to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice. We'll verify your details and get you set up.

Either way, your membership becomes active once you're verified.

How to redeem a deal

Redeeming is simple — no scanning, no barcodes, no extra hardware. It's a quick, friendly visual check.

If you're a member

1. Find the deal in your deals feed in the app.
2. Tap "Redeem". The app shows your unique Member ID and your profile photo.
3. Show staff before you order. Show your Member ID and photo to a staff member when you order (at a hotel, at check-in). Let them know you're using TradePass.
4. Reservations may be required. Please read the terms from the venue. They may require reservations quoting TradePass.
5. That's it — the staff member checks it's you and applies the deal.

Good to know

• Your photo is required — it's how staff confirm the account is yours. Keep it current.
• Your pass shows a live, ticking clock — that's how staff know it's the real app and not a screenshot.
• Your membership is personal and non-transferable — it's for you, in person. Don't share it.
• Respect each deal's terms (for example party-size limits, or whether a booking is needed).
• Deals are set by the venues themselves, and availability is at the venue's discretion.

If you're venue staff

1. Ask the member to tap "Redeem" on the deal in their app. They'll show you a screen with a Member ID and a photo.
2. Look at the photo — confirm the person in front of you is the account holder.
3. Check it's for your venue and a live deal — the deal shown should be one of yours.
4. Apply the deal — when they order (or at check-in for hotels), so they can choose from any TradePass menu or deal before ordering. No scanner needed — it's a quick visual check.
5. (Optional) Courtesy note. You may jot down the Member ID only if you might need to follow up. Never record personal details — no names, no contact information.

Your team already knows how to greet a guest. This is one friendly glance on top of that.

Location-based redemption — coming soon

We're building location-aware redemption, so in future a deal will confirm you're physically at the venue during its valid hours. It's on our roadmap and will launch with a clear notice about what it does and how it works. Until then, redemption is the simple in-person visual check above.

For venues

Venues buy TradePass memberships for their team as a staff perk, and venues that list a deal of their own pay less for those memberships. Sign up your team or list a deal. Questions? Email [email protected].
